People who get near me run the risk of getting a hug and a smile.
Recently, I received a hug from someone I haven't seen in a long time. This was a rather pleasant surprise and unexpected. A friend noticed and mentioned that I got a hug from this woman.
I started thinking, as I often do, about the power of words.I received a gift and in return gave a gift. Hugs are shared - maybe that's what I like most about a mutual hug. I won't go into the background of hugs and the various types here. You know when a hug is shared and when it's more forced.

So the questions of the week:
- Is it better to get a gift - or to be given a gift?
- How are you at receiving gifts? (Some find giving easier than receiving - and that creates a whole new set of questions and awareness).
